Welcome to Bombs Don't Kill
Bombs Don't Kill is a digital history project aimed at archiving and presenting the historical narrative of Puerto Rican revolutionaries, notably Las Fuerzas Armadas de Liberación Nacional Puertorriqueña (Armed Forces of National Puerto Rican Liberation), Ejército Popular Boricua (Boricua People's Army, otherwise known as Los Macheteros or Machete Wielders), and Young Lords.Primarily, this project attempts to answer a simple question: who were these people? By analyzing and using source documents, census data, graphing and georeferencing techniques, Bombs Don't Kill presents a 'generational snapshot' of who these groups were, what their platforms were, how and where they carried out their actions, and why.
